SPD Launches Interactive Law Enforcement Provider Map

The Springfield Police Department is excited to share a new web-based resource for community members in the Springfield area. Our department recognizes the challenges associated with knowing ‘who to call’ in certain areas in and surrounding Springfield.

With that in mind, we worked to launch an interactive map that shows which Law Enforcement Agency to contact in non-emergency situations. In case of emergency, you should always dial 911. This new map allows community members to search via address, as well as cursor controlled selection. This allows you to see which agency’s jurisdictional boundaries cover any address in the greater Springfield area.

This map only covers law enforcement service providers. If you have questions about code compliance or utilities services, you should visit the newly launch ‘Springfield Map Hub’.

You can explore the Springfield Area Law Enforcement Provider map underneath the ‘Contact Us’ & ‘How Do I’ tabs.

Today, we'd like to congratulate Officer Rupp for having completed his FTEP!Officer Rupp joined SPD as a lateral officer, meaning he had already completed the necessary law enforcement academy and was serving elsewhere as an officer.
