Department Policies

The Springfield Police Department has established policies for the uniformed enforcement of laws and that outline the delivery of service to the community. The Springfield Police Department reviews and modifies policies based upon changes in State or Federal laws and/or best practices. As changes occur, the most recent policies will be posted here.

Springfield Police Department policies that are exempt from public disclosure under ORS 192.345(18) are not included above. Exempt policies include those related to operational plans that would endanger an individual’s physical safety or jeopardize a law enforcement activity if publicly disclosed.
