Springfield Development Code Amendments for Housing Opportunities in Non-Residential Areas
Megaphone with Seeking Public Comment textWe’ve been working on Springfield Development Code Amendments for Housing Opportunities in Non-Residential Areas to comply with recent state legislation and to allow and encourage the development of income-qualified housing. Key changes include allowing commercial buildings to be converted to residential as well as allowing income-qualified housing in non-residential land use districts. These changes will expand housing opportunities throughout Springfield. 

Please join us at the Springfield Planning Commission public hearing at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2nd . Learn more about the project and how to provide public comment including written comments, at https://springfieldoregonspeaks.org/.
