Springfield Public Library’s film series, SPRINGfilm, presents: Ghostbusters: Afterlife
at Dorris Ranch, an all-ages outdoor movie event!
Join Willamalane and the Springfield Public Library at Dorris Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 15 for a free showing of the movie Ghostbusters: Afterlife. This spooky, fun for all ages event will feature a wonderful movie in the park, along with awesome food and drink vendors provided by Planktown and Willamalane Park and Recreation District.
This nostalgia packed film stars Finn Wolfhard, of Stranger Things fame, as Trevor Spengler, a young boy who has moved to Summerville, Oklahoma with his mom and sister Phoebe. The family, having hit hard times, moves into a ramshackle house once owned by Trevor’s grandfather in the hopes of starting a new life. But seismic tremors hit the small town, and a strange, eerie mystery unfolds in this small, American Midwest town. Starring: Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard and Mckenna Grace; directed by Jason Reitman; 124mins; (2021).
SPRINGfilm continues at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 with a free showing of the Indie Sci-Fi gem “Moon”.
