NARRATIVE OF INCIDENT:
On January 26, 2024, Springfield Police Department Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of the 4300 Block of Mt. Vernon Road in Springfield. Officers conducted a welfare check at the reported residence in an effort to identify potential victims and none were located.
The individual who resides at the address was found and taken into custody without further incident on charges in an unrelated case.
