INVOLVED SUSPECT:
Wilder, Shawn Michael 34 Year-Old Male | Springfield, OR
NARRATIVE OF INCIDENT:
In June of 2023, Springfield Police Department Officers began investigating Shawn Wilder in relation to Domestic Violence allegations. Thanks to the work of those involved, Wilder was arrested in October of 2023 for Assault APA, Menacing APA, and Coercion.
Through the initial investigation, it was further discovered that Wilder was in possession of child pornography. Additionally, Wilder was found to be in possession of approximately 34 pounds of illicit psilocybin mushrooms. Wilder was manufacturing and delivering the illegal substances within 1000 feet of Springfield Elementary School.
On February 22, 2024, Wilder was taken into custody without incident and lodged at the Lane County Jail for the charges listed below.
