Springfield Public Library Closures
Springfield Public Library will be closed on Monday, February 17 to observe Presidents’ Day. The book drop will be open to receive returned items. The library will reopen at 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 18 and resume regular hours.
The library’s regular hours are: Mondays and Tuesdays, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Wednesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The library is closed Sundays.

Teen Voice: Make Your Voices Heard!
Teens, do you want to make a meaningful contribution to your community while voicing your opinion? Join us at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 18 in the Library Meeting Room at Springfield Public Library, 225 5th St, Springfield. Free! For teens, ages 12 and older. Food will be served.
Age Friendly Springfield wants to know what is important to people of all ages as Springfield continues to develop and grow. This is an opportunity for teens to make their contribution to the future of Springfield! The group will give a presentation about who they are and what they are doing, followed by a discussion.
The Library offers a weekly gathering for teens every Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Join us to hang out, enjoy a snack, learn new skills and have fun. This event is free and intended for teens ages 12 and up. Our generous Friends of the Springfield Library make teen programs possible.
