Springfield Police to host Coffee with a Cop event

As part of Springfield Police’s efforts to communicate more closely with the community, we are giving people the opportunity to stop, have a cup of coffee, and share information with Springfield Police Officers.

 What: Coffee with a Cop

Date/Time: Thursday, July 29^th from 8:30 to 9:30 am

Location: Starbucks, 1499 Mohawk Blvd., Springfield

Background: The Springfield Police Department is committed to engaging the community and keeping open lines of communication. One way we can do that is to hold a monthly Coffee with a Cop event. Anyone can stop in ask questions, and share ideas or concerns with officers.

Each month we will hold events at different locations throughout the city.

The next event is August 27^th at Starbucks, 3348 Gateway Street, Springfield from from 8:30 to 9:30 am.

September’s event be held on the 16^th at Crema & Bloom, 1918 Marcola Road, from 8:30 to 9:30 am.
