NARRATIVE OF INCIDENT:

On 09/12/2025 at approximately 9:21 pm SPD units were dispatched to a reported vehicle versus bicyclist traffic crash in the 4200 block of Jasper Road.  Responding officers located a 33 year old male who was down and unresponsive in the roadway.  The cyclist was transported by medics to Riverbend hospital but unfortunately did not survive.  The initial investigation indicated the cyclist may have been struck by more than one vehicle.  The departments Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is currently investigating the incident.
