NARRATIVE OF INCIDENT:

On 4/28/26 at approximately 2103 hours, Springfield Police responded to a vehicle versus motorcycle traffic crash near South 41st and Main Street. The operator of the motorcycle was transported via ambulance to the hospital for life-threatening injuries. The operator of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with police. Traffic in the area was shut down or diverted while Springfield Police Officers collected evidence from the scene.

The Springfield Police Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is investigating the crash.
