NARRATIVE OF INCIDENT:On 11-12-2022 Officers with the Springfield Police Department were dispatched to a reported single vehicle traffic crash involving a motorcycle on Martin Luther King JR Pkwy, near Riverbend Dr. Officers arrived to find the male motorcycle rider down in the roadway. The motorcycle rider was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Springfield Police Departments Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) responded to investigate the crash. Any witnesses to the crash are asked to contact Detective Antone to provide a statement.
