Springfield Public Library and Springfield History Museum would like to remind folks that their entries for the Springfield A to Z Art Contest and Alphabet Book are due no later than 4 p.m., Saturday, July 31. Entries may be dropped off during open hours at either Springfield Public Library or Springfield History Museum. Please confirm current service hours with both organizations before coming.

The Springfield A to Z Art Contest is open to residents of Springfield and rural East Lane County (for full eligibility, please see contest details). Artwork should celebrate Springfield and correspond with a letter of the Latin alphabet (A, B, C, etc.). Artists of all ages and ability levels are strongly encouraged to enter. Please see www.wheremindsgrow.org/events for full contest details, including artwork parameters and submission guidelines. All winners will receive a free copy of the alphabet book upon publication.
