NARRATIVE OF INCIDENT: On 6-3-21 Officers with the Springfield Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot of the businesses in the 500 block of W Centennial Blvd. Witnesses described hearing several shots following a dispute. Upon arrival, Officers located one of the involved subjects in a nearby apartment complex. He was transported to a local Hospital with stab wounds. Detectives are interviewing a second male at the Hospital who was shot. His injuries are potentially life threatening.
Investigators do not believe there is any continuing threat to the public. Further details will be released at the appropriate time. Any witnesses that have not been contacted by SPD are asked to call 541-726-3714.
