Library Offers New Hult Center Event Passes for Springfield Patrons

The Springfield Public Library is excited to announce a new partnership with the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, bringing even more cultural opportunities to local residents. Starting in November, library patrons can check out free event passes for shows in the Hult Presents: 10×10 Series and the Changemaker Speaker Series. This new offering expands the library’s popular Cultural Pass program and provides access to cutting-edge performances and inspiring talks by renowned changemakers.

The event passes will be available one week prior to each show at the library’s front desk. To claim tickets, patrons simply need to present the pass at the Hult Center Box Office at least 30 minutes before the event begins. With this new program, patrons can experience live performances and lectures for free, while also learning how to navigate the box office process for future events.

Emily David, Library Director at the Springfield Public Library, shared her enthusiasm for the new program: “This partnership with the Hult Center is an exciting opportunity to connect our community to high-quality entertainment and educational events. It’s a chance for people to experience something new and enrich their lives through the arts and inspiring stories.”

The first passes will be available starting Friday, November 1st, offering access to Tae & The Neighborly, performing on Saturday, November 9th, and the Changemaker Series lecture, Mattias Klum: The Planet in Our Hands, on Sunday, November 10th. Additional tickets for these events can be purchased directly from the Hult Center Box Office, subject to availability.

These event passes cater to adult patrons, which adds a unique dimension to the library’s Cultural Pass offerings. The program already includes family-friendly passes to local attractions such as the Cascades Raptor Center, Adventure! Children’s Museum, and the Wildlife Safari, as well as passes to educational institutions like the Museum of Natural and Cultural History and the Eugene Science Center.

Library patrons can check out one pass at a time, with most passes available for one week. However, the new Hult Center passes are event-specific and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to check out the library’s social media channels and the Hult Center website for more information on upcoming events.
