Springfield, OR – Jill Cuadros was sworn in as the Interim Ward 4 City Councilor during the Springfield City Council meeting on Monday, April 27.

Cuadros will serve in the interim role following her appointment by the City Council to fill the Ward 4 vacancy. The interim appointment ensures continued representation for Ward 4 residents through the November 2026 general election.
“I am honored to serve the residents of Ward 4 and the Springfield community,” said Cuadros. “I look forward to listening, learning, and contributing to the important work ahead.”
Mayor Sean VanGordon welcomed Cuadros to the Council and recognized her willingness to serve.
“We appreciate Jill’s commitment to stepping into this role and serving the community,” said VanGordon. “Her perspective and dedication will be valuable as the Council continues its work on behalf of Springfield residents.”
