Ready for a night of thrills and chills? Join the Springfield Public Library for a free screening of Scream (2022) at the Wildish Community Theater in downtown Springfield on Wednesday, November 13, at 6:30 p.m.
This Springfield Scream 2022 screening will include a special live Zoom Q&A with Springfield’s very own Jasmin Savoy Brown, one of the film’s stars, who will share her experiences on set and discuss the making of this popular reboot.
In Scream (2022), the story follows Sam Carpenter as she learns her estranged sister, Tara, has been attacked by a masked assailant who eerily resembles the infamous Ghostface from 25 years ago. With a group of friends, Sam races to uncover the new killer’s identity before it’s too late. The film promises edge-of-your-seat suspense, unexpected twists, and a thrilling tribute to the original Scream series.
SpringFilm is Springfield’s beloved free film series, proudly continuing in December with an Oscar-winning favorite, The Artist, showing on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
