Fourth Annual Fright! At the Museum in Springfield

Springfield, OR – The Springfield History Museum is excited to announce the return of its fourth annual Fright at the Museum, a haunted house fundraiser that blends thrills, chills, and local history. This year’s theme, Screamfield’s Frankenstein, is presented in partnership with the Springfield Utility Board.

The event will be held over two weekends, October 16–18 and October 23–25, 2025, at the Springfield History Museum, located at 590 Main Street in downtown Springfield.

 

“Fright at the Museum has quickly become one of Springfield’s favorite traditions,” said Maddi McGraw, Museum Curator. “It’s a fun way to celebrate the season, connect with history, and support the museum’s mission.”

 

Family-Friendly and Full-Frights Options

  • Family-Friendly Hours: 4:00–6:00 p.m. (brighter lights, fewer scares, great for kids and families)
  • Full Fright Hours: 6:30–8:30 p.m. (darker, scarier, perfect for teens and adults)

After braving the haunted halls, guests can stop by the “recovery station” for photo opportunities and free snacks.

 

Admission

  • Adults: $5
  • Youth (ages 5–17): $3
  • Children under 5: Free
  • Family Rate (5 or more): $20

 

All proceeds support the Springfield History Museum’s collections, exhibits, and educational programs.
