Eugene Springfield Fire (ESF) will be conducting fire prevention inspections at local businesses starting in the Springfield area this April. The inspections are part of an ongoing effort by the Fire Marshal’s Office to work with business owners to mitigate fire risks at their establishments.

“Risk reduction is an incredibly important part of our education efforts in the community,” said ESF Fire Marshal Travis Worthington. “These inspections are really about ensuring businesses are aware of the risks that exist, and informing them of a path forward to mitigate those risks.”

Deputy Fire Marshals will be reaching out to Springfield businesses in the coming weeks to schedule an inspection.
