The Springfield Arts Commission is featuring the Fiber and Nature Art Quilts show by Candace Hunter and Sheryl LeBlanc. Fiber and nature are as complimentary a pair as Microcosms and Macrocosms. One reflects the other in a beautiful conversation about the nature of life. The Art Quilts you’ll see and experience tap into that conversation, offering a snapshot into the layers of Life as we experience them…One stitch at a time. LeBlanc and Hunter’s Art Quilts are a stunning fusion of creativity and craftsmanship transforming fabric into a canvas for personal expression. They invite viewers to explore layers of meaning, while their tactile nature adds an intimate, handmade expression that makes them truly captivating pieces of art. The Young Artists Gallery will showcase The B Street and The Park Head Start of Lane County classrooms presenting "Autumn Leaves” Enjoy the leaf silhouette art interpretations from the imaginations of Head Start's 3-5 year olds.
