The Springfield Police Advisory Committee advises the Springfield Police Department on policy, long range planning, and program services. The committee meets the first Thursday of every even numbered month, from 6-7:30pm. Agendas with meeting details are posted on the Monday prior to a SPAC meeting at: https://www.springfield-or.gov/city/police-department/springfield-police-advisory-committee/ Meetings will take place in a hybrid format. Virtual registration can be found below and in-person meetings will happen in the Springfield Justice Center EOC Room on the 2nd floor. Registration information can be located in the agenda, posted the Monday before. Meetings must be held quarterly, but are held more frequently as agreed upon by committee representatives.
The Springfield Police Department is thrilled to announce the return of the annual K9 Competition! The competition will be Saturday, June 14th from 12:00 – 3:00 pm at Silke Field! We’re also incredibly thankful to our partner agencies from throughout the region who will be sending teams to compete. The event, as always, is completely free to the public with all funds from apparel sales going towards training and equipment for the K9 Unit.
