Celebrate a Night Out Against Crime

Join the Springfield Police Department and communities around the nation as we celebrate a night out and give crime a going-away party! National Night Out is an opportunity for neighbors to turn on their porch lights, lock their doors and enjoy an evening with neighbors in the community. Celebrations are typically organized around a barbecue, potluck, ice cream social or other neighborhood gathering.

National Night Out takes place on the first Tuesday in August.

National Night out 2021 is on Tuesday, August 3.

There will be three park events:
Meadow Park at 851 Mill St
Jesse Maine Park at 652 S. 69th Pl
Volunteer Park at 4250 Mt. Vernon Rd

Are you planning a neighborhood party to celebrate National Night Out 2021? Invite Springfield Police Department’s Party Patrol to stop by your event.

National Night Out Party Patrol Requests must be received by July 26, 2021.

Party Patrol Requests are limited. Once spots fill, a waiting list will be established.
