Remote Surveillance Camera Product Request for Quote

Project Description

The City of Springfield, Police Department is seeking a qualified vendor to supply the following surveillance camera products and systems meeting the specifications below for ongoing use for investigational purposes: (1) Vehicle-mounted cartop carrier (e.g. Yakima Skybox, Thule Force, etc.) equipped with multiple covert surveillance cameras, (1) Pole-mounted covert surveillance camera system, (1) Adaptable covert surveillance camera system capable of mounting in numerous configurations, and applicable software required to operate these systems effectively. The products must be equipped with cellular connection, via a Department-provided SIM card, which allows data transmission for remote viewing and storage upon the City of Springfield’s network. All products must meet City and CJIS security requirements and allow for adherence to retention standards. Vendors are encouraged to submit supporting documentation regarding operation, functionality, and configuration options, as well as images of proposed systems. Multiple vendors may be selected for individual products based on meeting specifications listed below, but preference may be given to a single vendor able to offer all requested products.

Questions will be reviewed and responses will be posted to this website. If, in the opinion of the City, it is necessary to amend or supplement the Request for Proposals, an Addendum will be prepared, posted below, and notifications sent to all proposers that provided a valid e-mail address. A developer may also request to be added to the list for notifications by emailing Jessica Crawford at jcrawford@springfield-or.gov.

The City will make every reasonable effort to notify all proposers of Addenda, however, it is recommended that teams routinely check the website for updated information. The City is not responsible for any explanation, clarification, interpretation or approval made or given in any manner except by written Addendum issued by the City.

Addenda will not be issued within 72 hours of the RFQ response deadline without extending the RFQ deadline.
