Project Description

The City of Springfield’s Carter Building is planned for demolition. Before it can be taken down, experts are needed to provide hazardous building materials abatement and removal services as  necessary to allow for demolition of this facility. Contractors must be able to comply with all regulatory Local, State and Federal requirements necessary to perform this work. As well as secure all  required permits, testing and clearances

Questions will be reviewed and responses will be posted to this website. If, in the opinion of the City, it is necessary to amend or supplement the Request for Qualifications, an Addendum will be prepared, posted below, and notifications sent to all proposers that attended the optional Virtual Interested Submitter Information Session or Optional On-Site visit and provided a valid e-mail address. A developer may also request to be added to the list for notifications by email Sam Kelly-Quattrocchi at skellyquattrocchi@springfield-or.gov.

The City will make every reasonable effort to notify all prospective developers of Addenda, however, it is recommended that teams routinely check the website for updated information. The City is not responsible for any explanation, clarification, interpretation or approval made or given in any manner except by written Addendum issued by the City.

Addenda will not be issued within 72 hours of the ITB response deadline without extending the ITB deadline.
