PeaceHealth Rides – Tips & Tricks
PeaceHealth Rides bikes are equipped with GPS tracking and built-in safety features, making your ride smooth and secure. Here are some tips to help you get the most out of your ride:

Bike Features:
- Adjustable for comfort: Bikes fit a range or riders and feature an easy step thru frame and adjustable seats.
- Front Basket Storage: The front basket provides a dedicated space for purses, backpacks, or groceries.
- Lights for nighttime riding: Front and rear lights automatically turn on when rented.

Quick Start
- Before you can scan the QR code, wake the bike’s computer by touching the “Hold” button, this makes unlocking a bike quicker and easier.
- Take the U-bar out and with you by storing it in the rear holster loops – you’ll need it to end your rental.

Ending your rental or holding your bike:
- Bikes can be returned to any of the 130+ hubs or public bike racks throughout the system area. See in-app map for current system area boundary.
- To temporarily lock your bike outside the system area, use the “Hold” feature in the app. Your rental will continue while the bike is reserved for up to 1 hour.

Where to lock your bike rack:
- Lock to a designated bike share Hub for Free (marked with a blue pin in the app).
- Lock to a Public bike rack for a $2 fee.
- Some hubs are regular bike racks – check the in-app map for exact locations.
To Rent a Bike:
- Scan the QR code on the controller with the app.

End Your Trip The Right Way!
The bike share system operates in Downtown Springfield, the University of Oregon, and throughout Eugene. While you can ride outside the designated system area, all rides must end within the system area boundaries. You can end your ride by:
- Locking the bike to any public bike rack within the system area (with a $2 fee), or
- Locking the bike at one of the designated bike share Hubs in Downtown Springfield, the University of Oregon, or Eugene.

PeaceHealth Rides Operator
Local nonprofit Cascadia Mobility operates the PeaceHealth Rides bike share program. An advisory board consisting of regional partners (City of Springfield, City of Eugene, Lane Transit District and University of Oregon) meets quarterly to discuss operations and performance of the bike share system.
