Project Description:

Virginia Avenue and Daisy Street have been identified for street design changes to provide a safe and comfortable bicycle corridor that can be used by people of all ages and abilities.

This project will include the installation of various pedestrian and bicycle treatments consistent with a bicycle boulevard. These treatments include:

• Enhanced crossings (curb extensions or raised crossings at Virginia-Daisy at S.35th, S.38th, S.40th , S.41st , S.51st , S.54th trail crossing, and trail crossing east of S.57th
• 4 speed humps (various locations)
• Sidewalk infill (S.51st to S.52nd)
• Sidewalk infill (S.32nd to S.42nd, S.46th to trail crossing, S.51st to S.52nd )
• Shared pavement markings (S.32nd to S.42nd and S.46th to trail connection)
