Springfield Public Library and Springfield History Museum are thrilled to announce the Springfield A to Z Art Contest and Alphabet Book! The art contest opens on May 1 and all entries are due to the Library or Museum no later than 4 p.m., July 31, 2021. The bilingual (English/Español) Springfield A to Z Alphabet Book is expected to be available in print in the first half of 2022. All proceeds from sales of the book will benefit the Springfield Public Library and Springfield History Museum.

The Springfield A to Z Art Contest is open to residents of Springfield and rural East Lane County (for full eligibility, please see contest details). Artwork should celebrate Springfield and correspond with a letter of the Latin alphabet (A, B, C, etc.). Artists of all ages and ability levels are strongly encouraged to enter. Please see wheremindsgrow.org/events for full contest details, including artwork parameters and submission guidelines. All winners will receive a free copy of the alphabet book upon publication.
