One person seriously injured in car crash and fire on Martin Luther King Blvd.

On September 2nd at about 2:11 am, a Springfield Police Officer arrived at the scene of a car crash on Martin Luther King Blvd. at Cardinal Way. The officer saw that the car was on fire and the driver, who was the only person in the car, was trapped.

Eugene Springfield Fire personnel, who were already in the area at the time of the crash, were working to put out the fire. The officer immediately joined in to help get the fire out.
