Fiesta Del Verano/Summer Festival
Teens, get artistic in the sun this summer! From 2-4 p.m. on Friday, August 20, join Springfield Public Library’s IN PERSON event on the Fountain Plaza at 225 5th St, Springfield. This event is for teens ages 12+, free. Please note, the Library closes at 3 p.m., but the festival continues until 4 p.m. and City Hall is open until 5 p.m.
Focusing on art, we will be tie-dying t-shirts, Antonio Huerta from Comunidad y Herencia Cultural will offer the chance experience the art of traditional leather working, and more! Eat snacks, enjoy good company, take home a masterpiece, and have fun.

Fiesta Del Verano/Summer Festival
Adolescentes–¡que hagan algo artístico este verano! Vengan a la Biblioteca Pública de Springfield el viernes, el 20 de agosto de las 2-4:00 p.m. para un evento al aire libre en la plaza en 225 5th St, Springfield. Se invita los adolescentes de 12 a 18 años de edad a este evento gratis.
Antonio Huerta de Comunidad y Herencia Cultural va a ofrecer la oportunidad artística para hacer unas artesanías tradicionales con cuero. Participantes pueden hacer camisetas de “tie-dye” también. Los adolescentes se pueden hacer unas artesanías, gozar de meriendas y conocer a otros jóvenes en este evento gratis de la Biblioteca Pública de Springfield.
